On May 12, David Bosnick was named the new president and CEO of
TechQuest PA, the state's technology trade group based in Harrisburg. Bosnick, a Scranton native and former telecom executive, has been involved with TechQuest for about a decade and replaces Kelly Lewis, who left to work on a health information exchange startup, according to a
report in the Central Penn Business Journal.
Meanwhile, the video below outlines Pennsylvania's long and storied history of innovation, citing the work of Lancaster's Robert Fulton (pioneered submarine and steamboat), New Kensington's Stephanie Kwolek (invented Kevlar), Denver's Perry Evants (founded MapQuest) as evidence that innovation can happen anywhere.
Bosnick will play a large role in helping PA produce the next generation of notable innovators.
