LoRes-TV: The 'Living Laboratory' at Mason Dixon Farm

Don't think of Mason Dixon Farms near Gettysburg as the eighth-generation farm run by Richard Waybright. 'Living Laboratory' is more accurate, as the farm looks for new ways to do things better both economically and environmentally.

That includes a state-of-the-art milking parlors and a system that doesn't let cow waste go to waste. Its biogas digestion system produces enough methane gas to produce enough electricity on site and operate the farm and sell some back to the utility.
