One of Pittsburgh’s most promising green technology companies, Thar Instruments, was purchased by global laboratory giant Waters Corp. this month.
The sale is major news for the company and Pittsburgh, says Lalit Chordia, CEO.
Thar Instruments, formerly a division of Thar Technologies, will remain in the RIDC Park in O’Hara Township; Thar expects hiring and major growth as a result of the sale.
