Providence Point, a new retirement community in Allegheny County, is hiring 200 employees after a job fair that attracted 700 applicants.
Developed by the Baptist Home Society, the 32-acre development includesover 400 units: patio homes, two towers offering independent living andassisted living apartments, and a wellness center. One hundredemployees have already been hired, with another 100 expected to sign onin the next 12 months.
“A number of the patio homes are now occupied, and move-ins into the two towers got underway last month,” says project spokeman David Kosick. A formal grand opening for the site is planned for late August.
