More jobs, enhanced product in store for hospitality innovator SuiteLinq

Chris Rosa says his company’s wow factor is pretty simple. People who walk into a hotel room and see a desktop computer think it’s pretty unique. However, in transitioning from an in-room desktop computing provider to a multi-platform digital services provider for the hospitality industry, Exton-based SuiteLinq has upped its wow-factor significantly.

In addition to in-room desktops, SuiteLinq offers interactive systems on in-room televisions, guests’ personal laptops, and touch-based applications like Microsoft Surface. All the platforms integrate with hotels’ data systems to drive marketing and amenity reservations.

“We are the only hospitality solution provider that offers this many fully integrated digital platforms,” says Rosa, chief marketing officer.

The company’s solutions are based on Microsoft applications and it was recently named a Microsoft Global Alliance partner, the youngest company to earn that designation in Microsoft history.

Since SuiteLinq provides easy ways for properties to cash in through on-demand entertainment and hotel services, the recession has not negatively impacted company growth. This summer alone, hotels from Philadelphia and Baltimore to Chicago and Atlanta have signed up for SuiteLinq’s services. The company recently presented with Microsoft at an international trade show for hospitality executives and that has its sales staff following up several new leads.

The company employs 15 full-timers in Pennsylvania and plans to add operations, IT and sales staff throughout the rest of the year.

“Hoteliers realize that differentiation is critical, especially in a recession, so they’re always looking for solutions that improve the guest experience and create new revenue streams,” says Rosa. “That’s exactly what we do and why we’ve been able to maintain a steady growth trajectory.”
