Hosted by Governor Edward G. Rendell and the Pennsylvania Commission for Women and sponsored in part by Wachovia, the conference also features international corporate consultant Marcus Buckingham, lawyer and judge Glenda Hackett, and ABC’s “Good Morning America” workplace contributor, Women for Hire founder Tory Johnson.
Johnson’s firm is the partner for a new conference session offering practical advice for job-seekers. The ReWork Career Fair includes informal first-come, first-served sessions for critiquing resumes, along with career advancement strategies. The fair will also feature local and national employers and recruiters with current employment opportunities in Pennsylvania.
“In the past we’ve had in the neighborhood of 4,000 to 5,000 participants,” says conference spokesperson Hannah Calvert. “We’re hoping that registration this year will be in that range.”
Conference registration is available online.
