When asked to describe herself, photographer Lynn Johnson simply says: invisible. Not the self-deprecating or wall flower invisible, but the invisibility of the watchful, trained eye–the observer in the silent background, documenting. Working primarily in magazines for the past 35 years, the Central Northside resident travels the globe as the invisible trekker, creating stirring humanitarian photo stories that can motivate viewers to help the cause.
