It started a few years ago in Philadelphia, came to Pittsburgh last March and the Lehigh Valley last November, arrives in Lancaster this weekend and come late summer, Startup Weekend will make its way to Pennsylvania’s capital.
Startup Weekend Harrisburg has been announced for Sept. 13-15 at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology. The 72-hour whirlwind of team-building, coding, designing and market validation will lead to one business model that steals the show.
Planning has already begun for the event, which will follow the same basic format as all Startup Weekend events. All-comers are invited to pitch their startup idea and receive feedback on Friday. Then it’s a dash toward Sunday’s finish line with presentations in front of local entrepreneurial leaders.
