KE-TV: Comcast Premieres Video Series Commemorating Civil Rights Movements

It will be 50 years since the March on Washington and Maritn Luther King Jr.'s “I Have a Dream” speech, which took place in the nation's capital on Aug. 28, 1963.

Philadelphia-based media giant Comcast is helping preserve that day's legacy and introducing it to a new generation via a free multi-platform and interactive video series that will be available for free on demand on Xfinity TV through Oct. 12. Comcast is hosting an event today (Aug. 15) in Philadelphia to introduce His Dream, Our Stories: The Legacy of the March on Washington. It's a series of 80 videos that provide a rounded look at the civil rights movement, including the March on Washington and King's significance. 

The series will also be available on eBook through iTunes, Amazon and Nook.
