Those are just some of the reasons why college students and recent grads want to work for startups. With a tough job market and changing corporate landscape, startups are increasingly an option for young professionals. That's a big reason why the University of Pennsylvania's 2012 Career Fair added a special section devoted to startups.
Spling, HigherNext, OptoFluidics and Packlate were a few of the dozens of startups on hand for the Feb. 25 event, which by all accounts featured sold-out, record attendance.
