“Theyll be working in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and up to New York,” says EES district manager Steve Fournier. “Were hiring general laborers, truck drivers, all the way up to coil tubing supervisors, wire line engineers, and blasting licensees.” Wages range from $8 to $24 per hour.
“Express Energy offers a number of services related to the Marcellus Shale sites, from site preparation to drilling and all through the process,” says Barry Seneri, economic development manager for Fay-Penn Economic Development Council, which worked on the deal. “Beynon & Company in Pittsburgh contacted us on their behalf, and fortunately, we had some sites to present.” Express Energy, which also operates in Montgomery, Lycoming County, has leased 12,000 square feet at the Angelo Warehouse on Route 51.
Seneri says that Pennsylvania Career Links has helped connect job seekers to the new opportunities.
