The Live Arts Festival and Philly Fringe once again brought out the city’s best. Our Managing Photographer Mike Persico checked out a truly homegrown performance as part of 8: Eight Choreographers/Eight New Works on Sept. 10-11 at Live Arts Studio in Philadelphia. Choreographer Daniele Strawmyre, the artistic director at readysetGO, taps into the aesthetic of Japanese horror films, harmonizing the gorgeous and grotesque in “Kaidan.”
