More than 700 representatives from some of the state’s most dynamic and successful businesses were on hand for the inaugural Governor’s ImPAct Awards last Thursday. Such a turnout surprised even C. Alan Walker, the Secretary for the state's Department of Community and Economic Development.
“We had a huge response,” says Walker. “It's a great honor. Pennsylvania is a large, industrial state. To be recognized in an economy this size is really significant.”
